Application

Destratificators are intended to be used wherever, due to the height of the room, there is an unfavorable, from the energetic point of view, warm air rising above the zone where people stay, i.e. in high halls, warehouses, industrial plants.

The use of a destratificator supports air circulation, effectively reducing the temperature stratification inside rooms.

Construction

The outer casing is made of riveted galvanized steel sheet. Inside the casing, a compact axial fan. The impeller is made of UV resistant thermoplastic reinforced with glass fiber, dynamically balanced in accordance with ISO 1940. The fan housing is made of steel sheet, covered with black epoxy paint. The fan can operate at -40 ° C + 70 ° C. IP65 protection degree.

It is possible to install replaceable EU4 class filters inside the housing in order to reduce impurities in the circulating air. Fixing the device through 4 mounting holes in the upper base on the ceiling or by suspending it on the supporting structure as close as possible to the ceiling.

Motor

Standard motors 3x400V Y / D - 50Hz from 160 W to 1050 W, degree of protection IP65, insulation class F. Optionally single-speed version S with single-phase motor. Motors suitable for operation in an atmosphere with a relative humidity of up to 95%.

The motors have thermal protection against overheating, which must be connected to an external safety device. Connect the electric power to the junction box located at the corner of the housing.

Principle of operation

The fan is started and stopped by an external control system which, based on the measured temperature gradient, starts the fan. In the three-phase version, it is possible to start in 1st or 2nd gear (motor connected in Y or D). The device draws in warm air from under the ceiling and directs it down the room to the zone where heat is most desired - the zone where people stay.

Device selection

The size and number of devices should be selected based on the assumed number of air changes in the room. The maximum range radius of the device can be approximated as H + 2m, where H is the height of the destrificator installation.

Mounting height

Opening the blinds allows the use of destratificators in rooms with a height of 5-15 m. It is not recommended to use the device in rooms with a lower height. The minimum distance of the lower edge of the device from the floor is 3.5 m.
